Star Witness  three year-old Secret Location was making his debut in the 1400m maiden and the Patrick Payne trained gelding strode home win easily by nearly two lengths as favourite.

An $80,000 Inglis HTBA Scone Yearling Sale purchase from the Tyreel Stud draft for John Foote Bloodstock, Secret Location is the second winner from Elsewhere, a winning Lonhro half-sister to Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Long John.

Based at Widden Stud in victoria, Star Witness has had good success in Hong Kong producing 23 winners from 33 runners headed by Group III winner Explosive Witness.
