The Inglis Premier Yearling Sale kicks off this morning at 10 am and Maree McEwan is out and about at the sales for Breednet, so let’s hear from some of our vendors and also check out some Nicks that Click, two yearlings bred the same way as Golden Slipper favourite Learning to Fly.

Triple Crown winner Justify (USA) has 11 entries for Inglis Premier including two yearlings bred on the same cross as undefeated Group II ATC Reisling Stakes winner Learning to Fly being from daughters of Fastnet Rock.

Lot 422

Lot 422 from Kia Ora Stud is the first foal of Feelings, a full sister to stakes-winner Long Leaf from the family of Group I winners Terravista and Tiger Tees.

Lot 522

Lot 522 from Morning Rise Stud is the first foal of stakes-placed Lady Young from the family of Group I winner Holy Roman Emperor and Sherwood Forest.

Another nicks standout is Lot 96 from Musk Creek Farm, a Written Tycoon filly from More Than Ready (USA) mare Sammy’s Girl.

This nick runs at 82.6% winners to runners– 19 winners from 23 runners headed by Group I winning fillies Coolangatta and La Luna Rossa!

Even better is Lot 551 from Kulani Park, a Written Tycoon colt from Flying Spur mare Lustrous.

Street Cry (IRE) mares have been running hot and one of his best nicks is with Snitzel and Lot 39 from Rosemont Stud is a filly bred this way from Press Review.
