The Rosehill trials on Monday morning featured six heats for juveniles with winners including a $1.4million Snitzel colt, the daughter of a Golden Slipper winner and a close relation to Anamoe.
Champion sire I Am Invincible had two winners with Team Hawkes putting the polish on Mathkhoora, an Emirates Park homebred I Am Invincible filly from their Golden Slipper winner Mossfun, whose yearling colt by I Am Invincible sold for $1.65million at Magic Millions earlier this year.
Mathkhoora was second at her only previous trial last October and did everything right here to lead all the way and beat seasoned filly Remedies, last seen finishing second to Café Millenium at Randwick.
Mossfun has had two foals to race, both by Frankel, that have both won with Dajraan a winner here of the Group III ATC Festival Stakes.
The Maher Eustace team gave a good hit out to a couple of their youngsters in the slightly longer 1030m trial and I Am Invincible filly Tiz Invincible forged clear of her stablemate Exceed Perfection with some seven lengths back to the next horse.
Tiz Invincible was a $550,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Bahen Bloodstock / Ciaron Maher Racing / Eric Lucas from the Segenhoe draft and is bred to be good being the second foal of blue-blood import Amuletum (GB), a half-sister by New Approach to the mighty Anamoe.

Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, $1.4million Snitzel colt Head of the Herd went forward and won this trial at his first public appearance this year following two promising trials last year, but the eye-catching run was another expensive Snitzel colt in Fightertown.
Head of the Herd is a sibling to dual Group I winner Stratum Star and Group III winner Prague, so much is expected of him.
Prepared by Chris Waller, $1.1million colt Fightertown settled at the rear and let down with a great finish and will be improved when he goes back to the races following an even debut when he was slow to muster and then finished a modest sixth to Red Resistance and Steel City. Will be interested to see if blinkers are added.
The fastest of the 900m 2YO heat winners was the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained The Autumn Sun filly Autumn Ballet, who finished in a different post code some seven lengths in front of her nearest rivals clocking 34.22 seconds for the final 600m.
A $340,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Arrowfield Stud draft for Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / Kestrel Thoroughbreds, Autumn Ballet is from Street Cry (IRE) mare Grisi, a half-sister to three Group winners from the family of champion racehorse and sire Lonhro.

Arrowfield will offer her full sister at Inglis Easter this year as Lot 157, so will be hoping she carries this form forward into race day before the sale!
The Autumn Sun was not the only first season sire to post a winner with Trapeze Artist also making his mark with well named colt Costner, who improved at his second trial to win by more than a length.
Trained by John O’Shea, he raced deep covering ground in his first trial and was held together down the running and then this time showed better tactical speed to cross and find the fence and although still a bit green in his action looked good to the line.
A $320,000 Inglis Easter purchase for his trainer from the Widden Stud draft, he is the second foal of More than a Legend (USA), a winning More Than Ready mare from the family of Champion 2YO Colt and Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense.

Russian Revolution has some nice juveniles this season and the Annabel Neasham trained colt Libertad might add to their success finishing off strongly up the fence to win his second trial after his first trial two weeks ago when he chased home low flying Red Resistance for second.
A $40,000 Inglis Classic purchase that made $210,000 when bought by his trainer at the Inglis Ready 2 Race, Libertad is a half-brother to two winners from Electric Charge, a winning half-sister by Charge Forward to Group III winner Miss Darcey from juvenile stakes-winner Miss Bussell.
