Cornwall Park Stud will be waiting until the final day to present their draft of six at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, but the wait will be worthwhile with Peter Boyle and his team to offer a colt by Harry Angel (IRE) bred on a similar cross to Blue Diamond place-getter Arkansaw Kid.

Lot 624 is from the second crop of Champion European 3YO Sprinter Harry Angel and is from Pink Magnolia, a placed grand-daughter of Danehill from the family of Golden Slipper winner Danzero.

Lot 624

“He’s by promising young sire Harry Angel and is bred on the same Danehill line cross as Group I placed colt Arkansaw Kid, a nick that has produced six winners from seven runners to date,” said Peter Boyle.

The Cornwall Park draft includes the only two yearlings to be offered at Premier by Iffraaj’s Group I winning son Wyndspelle.

“The Iffraaj sireline is going from strength to strength through the likes of Wootton Bassett, Turn Me Loose, Ribchester and Almanzor with Wyndspelle coming from a top class New Zealand female family that includes Doncaster Handicap winner Brutal,” Boyle said.

Lot 636

Lot 636 is a half-brother by Wyndspelle  to Macau Derby winner Simon Fubuki and two more multiple winners and is the fourth foal from unraced Street Cry (IRE) mare Ringhals, a daughter of Kiwi bred US Group I winner Black Mamba from the family of Group I ATC Australian Derby winner Roman Emperor.

Lot 692

Lot 692 is a Wyndspelle filly from Group III placed O’Reilly mare Amazing Lady, whose first foal to race has been placed since the catalogue went to print. O'Reilly is the broodmare sire of 21 Group 1 winners including ATC Australian Derby winner Jon Snow who is by Iffraaj.

A colt by Written Tycoon’s brilliant son Rich Enuff, who runs at 65% winners to runners, is Lot 779, a cracking first foal from Lady Makfi.

Lot 779

Lady Makfi is a grand daughter of Group placed Wichita who has been a wonderful mare for Turangga Farm over the years with her progeny and descendants including stakes winners Our Quivera Panipique, Glenall, Kishkat, etc. A family full of speed!

Rounding out the draft are two colts by I Am Invincible’s promising young sire son Overshare, who has started his career at stud well with five winners to date including last year’s Golden Slipper runner Lady Laguna with his olfest progeny just three year-olds .

Lot 780

Lot 780 is a colt that is typical of what the sire is producing and true to the I Am Invincible type. He is from Sebring mare Lady Paulina, who comes from the family of Champion 2yo Colt and now a Group I sire Invader and quality Hong Kong sprinter Not Listenin'tome.

Lot 788

Lot 788 is the second foal of Linkville, an unraced half-sister to Group III winner Yulalona and stakes-winner Applegate, the dam of Group III winner Cloudy and this season’s exciting NZ trained two year-old filly Impendabelle, winner of the Group II Wakefield Challenge.

Linkville is from a daughter of leading broodmare sire Bernardini, sire of the dam of 75 stakes winners to date including 15 Group I winners.
