500 Milestone for Magnus

Media Release - Monday February 20

The quiet achiever on the Widden Stud Victoria roster, Magnus passed a career milestone over the weekend posting the 500th winner of his long and fruitful career at stud.

A perennial favourite that consistently delivers great types for breeders and winners aplenty for owners, Magnus has sired his 500 winners from 694 runners at a strike rate of 72% winner to runner.

Heading his list of 27 stakes-winners are Group I winners Streets of Avalon, Malaguerra, Magnifisio and Great Shot with his progeny amassing over $76million in prizemoney and including 14 individual million dollar earners.
