Juvenile Trial Watch – Doomben

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 14

Undefeated Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Skirt the Law was given a sound out at the Doomben barrier trials on Tuesday morning.

The Tony Gollan trained daughter of Better Than Ready did it very easily in preparation for her tilt at the Golden Slipper.

She will seek to emulate the success of past Magic Millions 2YO Classic winners to also win the Golden Slipper – Capitalist, Phelan Ready and Dance Hero.

Capitalist and Phelan Ready were both relegated to second in their subsequent runs following the Gold Coast and then rebounded to win the Golden Slipper, while Dance Hero finished the remainder of his juvenile season undefeated and took the Triple Crown for good measure.
