Justify Surges to Lead – Classic Opportunity

Tara Madgwick - Sunday February 12

Coolmore shuttler Justify (USA) has shot to the top of the Australian first season sires table thanks to the deeds of his brilliant daughter Learning to Fly and the Triple Crown winner has a select draft of nine yearlings be offered at Inglis Classic over the next few days.

The first Australian winner for Justify from just four starters, Learning to Fly has had two starts for wins in the Group III ATC Widden Stakes and $2million Inglis Millennium, read about her here.

In the Northern Hemisphere, Justify has sired 32 winners, of which six are stakes -winners and his overall stakes-winner to runner strike rate sits at 8.2%, which is encouraging for a sire whose offspring are expected to improve at three.

He has nine for Inglis Classic with a colt from blueblood Group I winner Charmont the pedigree standout to be offered by Coolmore as Lot 318.
