Twin Hills Classic Crackers

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Monday February 6

Twin Hills Stud head to Inglis Classic this week fresh from a super successful Magic Millions where they sold yearlings for up to $500,000, so Ollie and Amber Tait and their team expect to be kept busy this week with a big draft of 17 to be offered at Riverside Stables.

A champion son of champion sire Dubawi, Darley shuttler Too Darn Hot (GB) has made a huge impression with his first Australian yearlings selling for up to $1million and Twin Hills will offer two of his fillies at this sale.

Lot 521

Lot 521 is a lovely Too Darn Hot filly from a superb European family being the third foal of the Aga Khan bred Kibira (Fr), an unraced Redoute’s Choice daughter of stakes-winner Kerasona, a half-sister to Group III winner Keratiya.

Lot 619 is another stylish filly bred on the same cross as the previous being from metro winning Redoute’s Choice mare Moonlight Music, who has done a great job at stud leaving five winners from six to race headed by stakes-winner Moonlight Hussler.

Lot 619

This filly comes from one of the world’s best female families tracing in tail female line to celebrated matriarch Fanfreluche.

Another of the young Darley stallions poised to make a big impact is Blue Point (IRE) and the champion sprinter is the sire of Lot 59, a strongly built colt from slick stakes-winner She Goes to Rio (NZ).

Lot 59

She Goes to Rio has the perfect record of four foals to race, all winners and she comes from the family of Group I winner Blevvo.

Group I ATC Doncaster Handicap winner Brutal (NZ) has put plenty of power and quality into Lot 304, a stunning colt that is an eye-catching first foal for winning Teofilo (IRE) mare Cappamore.

Lot 304

Cappamore is a grand-daughter of Group II winner So Gorgeous from the family of Group I winner Sterling City and charismatic Kementari, plus a host of other stakes-winners.

Good looking Zoustar stallion Zousain has won plenty of fans and is the most represented first season sire at this sale, but Lot 396 will certainly stand out from the crowd coming from a deep European family packed with Group I performers.

Lot 396

He is a half-brother to a three time winner in the UK from Emirates Comfort (IRE), a placed half-sister by Dubawi to Group II winner Free Port Lux from Group I winning Monsun mare Royal Highness. Also on the page are multiple Group I winners Yibir and Wild Illusion, who are also both by Dubawi.

As we head into autumn racing, Russian Revolution is really starting to hit his straps and Lot 684 is a most likable colt from Group III winner Pretty Pins (NZ), who has now had two foals to race both winners with The Hungarian (4g Snitzel) winning his past two starts for Paul Messara since the catalogue went to print.

Lot 684

The colt has a quality Black Type pedigree with Pretty Pins a half-sister to Group I winner Allez Wonder and to the dam of Group I winning sire Tivaci.
