Opportunities aplenty in February Inglis Digital (Early) Online Sale

Media Release - Friday February 3

Stakes winners such as Bend The Knee, Royalzel and Ranting, several talented up-and-coming gallopers along with some well-credentialed broodmares headline another quality Inglis Digital Online Sale.

The February (Early) auction, which is now open for bidding, will see 273 lots catalogued – 173 racehorses (62 race fillies), 51 broodmares, 31 racehorse shares, 15 yearlings and three unraced stock.

Among it are some outstanding racetrack prospects including Bend The Knee (Snitzel) from the John O’Shea stable.

Bend the Knee is for sale.

The 4YO won the Listed Amanda Elliott at Flemington in Melbourne Cup Week at just his fourth career start.

Bend The Knee (pictured) has finished third at his two most recent outings in Sydney Saturday races, beaten less than a length on both occasions.

Royalzel (Snitzel) is a four-time winner including at Stakes level as a 2YO while Ranting (Zoustar) defeated the likes of Hanseatic and Anders when winning the G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes.

The Chris Waller-trained Operative (Written Tycoon) – a 3YO colt that has won two of his five career starts and is being offered unreserved - is another entry that will undoubtedly attract broad interest from buyers, as will the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Old Flame, a G2-winning Invincible Spirit entire who finished 3rd in the $1m The Gong at his most recent outing and has G1 targets this autumn carnival.

A 5% share in Old Flame is being offered in the February (Early) Sale.
