Media Release - Sunday January 29

Two 5% shares in three-time Stakes-winning 3YO colt Williamsburg (Snitzel) will be offered in a bespoke Inglis Digital Online Sale this week.

Williamsburg had his first barrier trial back this preparation last Friday.

A $470,000 Easter Yearling Sale graduate, Williamsburg is regally bred being by Champion Sire and sire of sires Snitzel out of G1-winning High Chaparral mare Fenway and is bred on the same cross as another top class three year-old colt this season in Best of Bordeaux.

Trained by Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou, he was a dual stakes winner as a 2YO of the G3 Schweppervescence Hcp and the Listed Fernhill Hcp before running third to G1 winners She’s Extreme and Fireburn in the G1 Champagne Stakes.

Williamsburg returned as a spring 3YO to win the Listed Dulcify Quality before running a narrow third in the G3 Gloaming Stakes behind G1 winner Sharp ‘n’ Smart and was fifth in the Group I ATC Spring Champion Stakes.
