Juvenile Trial Watch – Rosehill

Tara Madgwick - Saturday January 28

A star studded set of trials at Rosehill on Friday featured a galaxy of Group I stars including Anamoe and on the two year-old front there were a couple of interesting winners by Hellbent and Dundeel.

The Bjorn Baker trained filly Helldancer looked a natural runner accounting for quality I Am Invincible fillies Blanc de Blanc and Satin and Silk at her first public outing.

Helldancer is a half-sister to five winners from good producing former classy juvenile Amber’s Waltz, a multiple Group placed daughter of Danehill Dancer (IRE) that was also runner-up in a Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

Full sister to Helldancer to be offered at Inglis Classic.

Yarraman Park will offer the full sister to Helldancer at Inglis Classic as Lot 241.

The Chris Waller trained Dundeel colt Militarize improved sharply at his second trial and when asked to go forward and win did so with a minimum of fuss.

A $550,000 Magic Millions purchase for China Horse Club/Newgate Bloodstock/Trilogy Racing, Militarize is bred for classic success being from well related Dubawi mare Amerindia (GB), a daughter of Group I winner Satwa Queen and half-sister to the dams of Group I winners Nations Pride and Lucky Vega.

Other 2YO winners were: Taxpayer (Zacinto (GB) and Rupert’s House (Winning Rupert).
