Glenlogan Park Sell $1.2 Million Invincible Filly

Tara Madgwick - Thursday January 12

Champion sire I Am Invincible posted his third million dollar yearling of the sale when the Glenlogan Park bred and sold filly from Super Too sold for $1.2million to a first time buyer in Australia from the US.

$1.2million I Am Invincible filly from Super Too.

A three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group III winner and Champion Singapore 2YO Super One, she was purchased by USA buyers Tammy and Richard Rigney on the advice of bloodstock agent John Moynihan.

“The filly looks like she’ll be super early, super quick and we’re just super excited,” said John Moynihan, who indicated she will be trained by Peter and Paul Snowden.

“She just looks like she’s super precocious. We obviously wanted to target something we thought had a good chance to get to the race next year and every time we went back and looked at her we really, really liked her.”

Richard and Tammy Rigney have stable of horses at home in the US and are on their first visit to Australia, but Moynihan said they have plans to return after being inspired by our racing and breeding industry.

“The purse money and just the atmosphere. These two-year-olds, they run for so much money and Richard and Tammy have a big racing stable in the States and they just thought it would be great fun,” said Moynihan.

“They have had a great experience down here and they thought it would be something they could come back to in different years.”

An athletic bay that is very true to type, she is the first foal of Group II placed Hinchinbrook mare Super Too, who was a speed demon with five wins at 1000m.

Super Too was an astute investment for Steve Morley Bloodstock/Glenlogan Park, who picked the mare up for $575,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Super Too produced a colt last spring by I Am Invincible and is now in foal to his champion son Home Affairs.
