$800,000 Exceed and Excel Colt Stars for Edinburgh Park

The first colt by champion sire Exceed and Excel to be offered at Magic Millions this year was an early highlight on Wednesday morning when making $800,000 for Ian Smith’s Edinburgh Park Stud.

$800,000 Exceed and Excel colt from Nothin But a Dream (USA).

A three-quarter brother to multiple Group I placed Group II MVRC Stutt Stakes winner Glenfiddich, the colt was purchased by Kia Ora Stud in partnership with TFI Investments/Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing

He has a two year-old full sister that sold for $625,000 at Inglis Easter last year and is the fifth foal of Nothin But a Dream (USA), a half-sister to the dam of multiple stakes-winner Eleven Eleven, who was also bred and sold by Edinburgh Park.

Nothin But a Dream produced a filly by Zoustar last spring and was then covered by Palace Pier (GB).
