Zousain Makes Early Splash with $350,000 Filly

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday January 10

Zoustar’s brilliant son Zousain is the most represented of all the first season sires at Magic Millions this year and made an early splash on Tuesday with his filly from Leap Lively making $350,000 for Widden Stud, who stand both his sire and grand-sire.

$350,000 Zousain filly from Leap Lively.

Zousain was purchased out of this sale back in 2017 for $400,000 by Mulcaster Bloodstock and David Redvers with Guy Mulcaster involved in the purchase of this filly as well who is heading to Chris Waller.

The champion trainer prepared both Zousain and Zoustar, so the filly from Leap Lively should feel right at home and can follow in the footsteps of so many lovely Zoustar fillies that have come out of this stable including Zougotcha, Kiku, Hau Brion Her and Madam Rouge.

A half-sister to Group winners Bliss Street and Jade Marauder, Leap Lively has done a great job at stud leaving good metro winners Dehorned Unicorn and Liza With a Zee,
