Tara Madgwick - Thursday January 5

Breednet’s popular First Season Sire Gallery pages are now created offering a fast and easy way to compare yearlings by the new wave of sires on type, so this time let’s take a look at a Kiwi bred that now calls the Hunter Valley home in Brutal (NZ).

Brutal (NZ)

A $220,000 NZB Book 1 Yearling Sale purchase from Mapperley Stud, Brutal retired with earnings of $2.2million winning five of 10 starts and placing in a further three.

Brutal won his only start at two over 1200m at Caulfield in mid-July and then won his first two starts as a spring three year-old in Listed races over 1200 and 1400m.
