The 2023 Magic Millions Yearling Sale kicks off on January 10 with a stellar catalogue packed with quality, so we’ve had a trawl through over the holiday break to check out some of the youngsters you just can’t wait to see!

Lot 435 Filly Exceed and Excel x Stylish Bel, by Bel Esprit – Rosemont Stud

Half-sister to two time Hong Kong Horse of the Year Beauty Generation, a Champion Miler and eight time G1 winner.

Lot 690 Colt Blue Point (IRE) x Bumbasina (IRE), by Canford Cliffs – Segenhoe Stud

Half-brother to Perth sensation Amelia’s Jewel, six wins and a second from seven starts with earnings topping $1.6million and highlight win in the G1 WATC Northerly Stakes.

Lot 778 Filly Zoustar x Debonnaire (GB), by Anabaa (USA) - Arrowfield Stud

Half-sister to former Godolphin superstar Hartnell, a four time G1 winner and $7.4 million earner, and also to G1 placed stakes-winner Roz.

Lot 316 Colt Fastnet Rock x Roz (GB), by Teofilo – Coolmore

Same family as the previous, this colt the final foal from Hartnell’s half-sister to Roz, who found her way to Australia and sadly died this year.

Lot 828 Filly Too Darn Hot (GB) x Enbihaar, by Magnus – Vinery Stud

Second foal of brilliant G2 winner Enbihaar, who was also second in G1 Blue Diamond Stakes. Her first foal, a filly by Zoustar made $550,000 at this sale in 2022. She has been named Extremely Wicked and is entered for Moonee Valley this Saturday.

Lot 950 Colt Fastnet Rock x I am a Star, by I Am Invincible – Newgate Farm

Second foal of G1 VRC Myer Classic winner I Am a Star and her first foal, a Deep Field colt, made $800,000 at this sale in 2022.
