The 2023 Magic Millions Yearling Sale kicks off on January 10 with a stellar catalogue packed with quality, so we’ve had a trawl through over the holiday break to check out some of the youngsters you just can’t wait to see!

Lot 76 Filly Pierata x Loving Gaby, by I Am invincible – Segenhoe Stud

From the first crop of G1 winning sprinter Pierata and is first foal of another G1 winning sprinter in Loving Gaby, who was an exceptional 3YO filly beating older sprinters to win G1 MVRC William Reid stakes and Manikato Stakes, plus five G1 placings.

Lot 153 Colt I Am Invincible x Mossfun, by Mossman – Emirates Park

Half-brother to recent G3 ATC Festival Stakes winner Dajraan (Frankel) and is from Golden Slipper winner Mossfun who started her stud career in Europe.

Lot 374 Filly Zousain x Sheila’s Star, by Snitzel – Rosemont Stud

From the first crop of Zoustar’s brilliant son Zousain and is a three-quarter sister to this season’s classy G2 winning filly North Star Lass, who was also third in the G1 Flight Stakes and is by Zoustar.

Lot 399 Filly Zoustar x Solar Charged, by Charge Forward – Widden Stud

Full sister to Champion 3YO Filly Sunlight and G3 winner Sisstar being from star producer Solar Charged, whose Zoustar colt sold for $3million at Inglis Easter in 2022 to be the highest priced yearling sold in Australia this year.

Lot 445 Colt Justify (USA) x Sunlight, by Zoustar – Coolmore

First foal of Champion 3YO Filly and $6.5million earner Sunlight, who was bought by Tom Magnier for $4.2million at the 2020 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Lot 477 Colt Written Tycoon x The Broken Shore, by Hussonet (USA)- Arrowfield Stud

Half-brother to dual G1 winner and $2.5million earner Shoals and SW Groundswell, who topped Inglis Easter in 2018 when selling for $2.3million and has the ultimate stallion’s pedigree beign from the family of Redoute’s Choice.
