Race favourite is the fit and in form Hellbent gelding Hell I Am, who won the Wyong 3YO Classic when resuming from a spell and will look to continue the hot run of his trainer John O’Shea, who will also saddle Shalailed, who was second to him last time.

Could be another feature race quinella coming up for O’Shea!

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Russian Revolution filly Russian Conquest is the watch horse having her first run since finishing unplaced on a heavy track in the Group I MRC Thousand Guineas.

Her good track form is very good, so don’t let her get under your guard.

The race jumps at 4.25pm.

The Group III Gosford Belle of the Turf Stakes (1600m) follows with a big field of talented mares all chasing the Black Type.

Race favourite is the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained So You Think mare Nothinsweetaboutme, who has six wins from 14 starts.

She has three stakes-winning siblings in Stampede (High Chaparrral (IRE), Thinkin’ Big (High Chaparral (IRE) and Just Thinkin’ (So You Think) so will be shooting to become the fourth stakes-winner from terrific producer Nothin’ Leica Cat, who passed away in 2020.
