The 2023 Magic Millions Yearling Sale kicks off on January 10 with a stellar catalogue packed with quality, so we’ve had a trawl through over the holiday break to check out some of the youngsters you just can’t wait to see!

Lot 630 Colt Fastnet Rock x At Last (IRE) by Galileo- Coolmore

Fastnet Rock is a champion sire with great stats, but when you put him over daughters of Galileo, you up the ante to siring 20% SW to runner. This colt the second foal from At Last, an Irish bred half-sister to champion 3YO sprinter and champion sire Zoustar and full sister to stakes-winner Emperor of the Sun.

Lot 676 Colt I Am Invincible x Booker, by Written Tycoon – Coolmore

First foal from Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate winner Booker, bought by Tom Magnier for $1.6million at the 2020 Inglis Chairmans Sale.

Lot 682 Colt Zoustar x Breakfast in Bed, by Hussonet (USA) – Segenhoe Stud

Half-brother to dual G1 winning 2YO King’s Legacy, who sold for $1.4million at this sale in 2019 and has his first foals arriving this spring for Coolmore.

Lot 886 Filly Zoustar x Fuddle Dee Duddle by Red Ransom (USA) – Longwood Thoroughbred Farm

Full sister to G3 VRC Maribyrnong Plate winner Brereton, who sold for $1million at this sale in 2021 and is from G3 winning half-sister to G2 winner Hallowell Belle and to the dam of this season’s G1 winning sprinter Bella Nipotina.

Lot 919 Colt Exceedance x Hallowell Belle by Star Witness- Vinery Stud

From the same family as the previous and is a gorgeous colt from the first crop of Exceedance from Hallowell Belle, who had five G1 placings to go with her G2 VRC Gilgai Stakes win.

Lot 931 Filly Too Darn Hot (GB) x Hell It’s Hot, by Zeditave – Corumbene Stud

From first crop of European Champion 2YO Colt and 3YO Colt Too Darn Hot and is a half-sister to seven winners headed by dual G1 winning $3.7million earner In Her Time. Dam is a half-sister to the dam of Everest winner and Champion 3YO Colt Yes Yes Yes, so forgive the pun, but this really is a hot family!
