Winx Misses to Snitzel

Tara Madgwick - Friday December 9

The owners of Winx have issued a statement on the latest news of her stud career with the champion mare and her Pierro foal both in great health, but no foal on the horizon for 2023.

Winx and her Pierro filly are in great health.

11 year-old Winx produced a gorgeous filly by Coolmore’s champion sire Pierro on October 7 and was subsequently covered by Arrowfield Stud’s champion sire Snitzel, but has unfortunately missed so will be given the season off.

That will give her owners plenty of time to consider her options for a partner next spring.
