Dual G1 Winning Mare Snapdancer Retired

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have announced the retirement of their star sprinting mare Snapdancer, who is sure to light up a sale ring next year when offered as a broodmare prospect.

A $180,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Sledmere Stud draft for Spicer T'Breds/Darren Weir Racing, the daughter of Choisir won seven of 20 starts and over $2million in prizemoney with highlight G1 wins in the MRC Memsie Stakes and SAJC Robert Sangster Stakes.

Choisir has established a fine reputation as a broodmare sire with his daughters producing 26 stakes-winners, six of them Group I winners including current star three year-old filly In Secret.
