5.4million Guineas for Alcohol Free

The Tattersalls December Mares Sale delivered the anticipated fireworks overnight with four-time Group I winning No Nay Never mare Alcohol Free selling for 5.4million guineas.

A Group I winner at two, three and four, the champion mare was offered by Park House Stables on behalf of her owner Jeff Smith of Littleton Stud and was bought by BBA Ireland with Coolmore the underbidder.

Alcohol Free was originally bought at the Goffs Foal Sale in 2018 for €40,000 and was trained throughout her career by Andrew Balding. She retires with the overall record of six wins from 15 starts with her final Group I victory coming this year in the July Cup at 6f.

Alcohol Free sold for 5.4million guineas.
