Savabeel First Stallion to $9million

The first stallion this season to crack $9million in Australian earnings, Waikato Stud’s champion sire Savabeel had a trans-Tasman stakes double on Saturday with Milford winning the Group IIII MRC Eclipse Stakes and Prise de Fer successful in New Zealand.

The 21 year-old son of Zabeel has been in hot form this season in Australia with his classy son I Wish I Win taking the $10million Golden Eagle while Atishu and Mr Maestro have also enjoyed Group race success.

Below are all the stallions with $5million or more in earnings.

I Am Invincible leads the way in terms of winners with 84, while Snitzel leads by stakes-winners with nine on the board including Saturday’s Vienna Princess, who was a maiden until taking out the Listed MRC Twilight Glow Stakes.
