Arqana Sale-Topper Heading to Australia

Mark Smith - Tuesday November 15

It was a fill-up for Australians on Day 1 of the Arqana Autumn Horses In Training Sale, which included the record-setting top lot Carini.

Lot 344 Carini (FR) (Siyouni x Candarliya by Dalakhani) Equos Racing/Astute Bloodstock €600,000.

At his most recent start, the 3yo son of Siyouni finished second in a Listed race over 2500m at Deauville.

“I’ve bought him for my old boss Louis Le Metayer, for one of his Australian clients, said Nicolas Lefevre. It’s been four years since we last bought together - there is a lot of competition for horses like him. We’ve followed him for a long time. We’re delighted the story continues with him!”
