Brilliant Debut For Spirit Of Boom 3YO

Breednet - Sunday November 6

It might have been the Sunshine Coast on a Sunday but it’s not often you see a debut as impressive as this Spirit Of Boom three year-old.

Golden Boom

The Tony Gollan trained Golden Boom had stamped himself one to watch when winning two barrier trials easily in October and his debut was full of expectation.

Sent to the post a raging hot $1.45 favourite he never gave any cause for concern winning with ridiculous ease, barely coming off the bit at any stage to win by 6.3 lengths.

By Spirit Of Boom out of Encosta De Lago mare Golden Falls, Golden Boom was bought by Archer Park Racing at the 2021 Magic Millon Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $50,000 from Element Hill.

He is the second and sadly final foal for his dam who died in 2020.

Spirit Of Boom is enjoying another successful season with this his 41st winner and 10th three year-old winner.

With the rich Queensland summer racing carnival about to kick off with $22 million on offer over 10 weeks of racing, Golden Boom is looking a potential rising star through that period.
