Vale, Foreteller

Media Release - Wednesday September 28

It is with great sadness we share with you the passing of incredible racehorse and great friend Foreteller. On the 27th of September Foreteller was humanely euthanised at Vinery Stud, where he will be laid to rest after sustaining a paddock injury at the age of 16.

Foreteller (GB) enjoyed a happy retirement at Vinery Stud.

Foreteller’s sensational exploits on the track have been well documented after winning three Group 1’s and over $2 million in prizemoney while in the care of Chris Waller and his team. His highlight wins came in the 2013 ATC Ranvet Stakes, VRC Makybe Diva Stakes and 2014 MRC Underwood Stakes.

We pass our heartfelt condolences on to Foreteller’s ownership group and thank them for entrusting him with us where he was a much loved and appreciated member of the Vinery family. He will be greatly missed by those who worked with him and will be remembered not only as a great racehorse but as a great friend.
