Trapeze Artist has more than half of his first crop of rising two year-olds entered for the 2023 Golden Slipper with 67 youngsters nominated by a wide range of our leading trainers including Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou (8), Ciaron Maher and David Eustace (5), Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr (4)  as well as Hawkes Racing, Snowden Racing,  Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Tony and Calvin McEvoy, Chris Waller, John O’Shea, Danny O’Brien, Kris Lees, Tony Gollan, Mark Newnham, Annabel Neasham and various Freedmans.

Trapeze Artist had yearlings sell for up to $850,000 and had 38 yearlings sell for $200,000 or more so is long on quality with his top selling colt from Cocoa Doll now named Trapeze Warrior and entered by his trainer Phillip Stokes.

Trapeze Artist has covered exceptional books of mares in his first three seasons at stud and is priced this year at $55,000 with the foals born from these 2022 matings eligible for the final year of the $2million bonus incentive.
