FIRST SEASON
Three first season sires to choose from in Jonker (Spirit of Boom), Tiger of Malay (Extreme Choice) and Profiteer (Capitalist).
A Group I winning sprinter of over $2million in prizemoney, Jonker is the first Group I winner for Queensland’s favourite son Spirit of Boom and is also his first son to stud.
A fast precocious 2YO that trained on, he is not unlike his sire in terms of racing profile and he does trace in tail female line to Cotehele House, whose branch of the Eight Carat family has produced successful sires Commands, Danewin, Deep Field and Shooting to Win.
Tiger of Malay won $1million in prizemoney and was a Group II winner at two and a Group III winner at three with his biggest drawcard being his status as a son of boom sire Extreme Choice.
For breeders that can’t afford his sire, who stands at a fee of $275,000 or Extreme Choice’s Golden Slipper winning son Stay Inside priced at $88,000, then Tiger of Malay is going to make plenty of appeal if you want to invest in this sireline.
Profiteer was a brilliantly fast and precocious two year-old with his best performances winning the $2million Inglis Millennium and finishing second in the Group II ATC Todman Stakes behind Anamoe.
One of the first sons of Capitalist to go to stud, Profiteer has a pedigree packed with speed and traces in tail female line to legendary Australian blue hen Dark Jewel.
