Ridden by Jordan Childs for Mitch Freedman, Belle Et Riche was eased to the tail of the field from an outside barrier in a well-contested benchmark 64 for three year-olds over 1400m.

Still near last 25om out, Belle Et Riche did not flinch in a long-sustained drive to overpower Heavenly Eagle (Echoes Of Heaven) by three-quarters of a length with Sunfall (Zoustar) a half head back in third.

Coming off a dominant performance at Bendigo, Belle Et Riche advances her record to two wins, two seconds and a third from five starts with earnings of $100,200.

A homebred for the Groves family, Belle Et Riche is one of four winners from as many to race out of the talented Redoute’s Choice mare Tango’s Choice whose six wins included two at Sandown and Moonee Valley and Morphettville.
