The latest came in Saturday's Group III Sharp Extensive It JRA Plate at Randwick, and what a spectacle.

With Hugh Bowman in the saddle, the 7yo daughter of  Azamour increased her margin at every call to defeat Numerian (IRE) by five and a quarter lengths, with Icebath (Sacred Falls) a further two and a quarter lengths back in third.

When trained by Kylie Fawcett in New Zealand, Polly Grey won six races, including a Listed stake, in New Zealand.

With her sixth stakes success, Polly Grey advances her record to eleven seven five from 40 starts with earnings of $796,317.

"She's a good tough horse and obviously likes the conditions," Waller said.

"You don't see Hugh Bowman in front very often, but today you need to be right up there, so Hugh put the kettle on didn't he?"

"After the Gosford Cup last year, she's continued winning since. She carried weight today and showed a good turn of foot when she needed to.

"Not sure where she will head next. I'll chat with Hugh and see if we can order a few more wet tracks."

Bred by the late Barbara Perry,,Polly Grey is the only foal of the 4-time winning Zenno Rob Roy mare Allanhah, a half-sister to Group 1 ARC Easter Hcp winner Pasta Post (Postponed) and the Group III Hawke's Bay Gold Cup winner Don Domingo (Don Eduardo).

A champion son of Night Shift, Azamour shuttled to Brighthill Farm for the 2013 season before his untimely death at Gilltown Stud in 2014.
