Stud Career Next for Every Faith

Tara Madgwick - Saturday July 29
Three Bridges Thoroughbreds graduate Every Faith is headed to stud this spring, but will go out in top form after saluting at Caulfield on Saturday.

The Robert Smerdon trained six year-old daughter of Not a Single Doubt did best in a thrilling finish to the 1200 metre mares sprint to score a half head win.

Every Faith was a pinhook winner for Three BridgesSmerdon said Every Faith would likely have one more start before heading to the breeding barn.

"She's a really nice mare and she'll have one more start before she heads to stud where I think she's been booked into Medaglia D'oro but the float is already booked," Smerdon said.

"She's a well-bred mare that's won a Black-type race so it's off to the next phase of her life."

A $130,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft, Every Faith has won six of 39 starts earning in excess of $400,000 in prizemoney with a Black Type success on her resume in the Listed SAJC Laelia Stakes.

She is a half-sister to Group II winner Alpine Eagle being from the well-bred Zabeel mare Zephyria.

She was a highly successful pinhook for Three Bridges having been bought initially on our behalf by Paul Willetts for $28,000 at the MM National Weanling Sale from the Brooklyn Lodge draft.
