Moonee Valley hosted a busy morning of gallops on Monday ahead the Moir Stakes meeting on Friday night.

The last start McEwen Stakes winner Russian Revolution is nominated for the Group I sprint and had a brisk workout along with fellow Moir contenders Houtzen and Ability.

Markers were out 10 metres, riders reporting the ground riding in the good (4) range.

Montoya's Secret	1200m 1:23.90	24.53	Not hurried early and then chased along in the home straight, ridden through the line. Nominated for the JRA Cup.
Fox Swift & Split Lip	800m 51.80	23.54	Split Lip on the inside and looked to cope with the turn comfortably. Both strong through the line, Split Lip a length clear at the finish. Both nominated for the Scarborough Stakes.

Rock Magic	800m 51.07	23.66	Strong but relaxed from the off. Deceptively quick as he was so relaxed and under a hold through the line. Nominated for the Moir Stakes.
Toga Picta & Etymology	1200m 1:23.16	24.05	Steady early before building down the side. Together around the turn and through the line, Toga Picta on the outside of the older horse and both on the bridle.
Demonstrate & Coruscate	1000m 1:06.05	24.31	Strong from the off, Demonstrate on the inside. Demonstrate just shading the work through the line with Coruscate pushed along.
Masculino & Mighty Boss	1200m 1:20.19	24.05	Masculino on the inside of Mighty Boss and strong from the off at a consistent speed. Masculino shading the work through the line.
Bonney & Mintha	1000m 1:09.04	24.88	Not out to do anything more. Both had a good look around and appeared to handle the home turn comfortably at speed, both well on the bridle through the line.
True Excelsior & Captain's Son	800m 50.38	23.68	True Excelsior on the outside in ear muffs and nose roll. Stoked up in the straight and strong late. Nominated for the Scarborough Stakes.
Super Too	600m 36.22	22.98	Short and sharp from the off. Powered home in the straight. Nominated for the Moir Stakes.
