Annabel Neasham and Lizzie Jelfs launch buying partnership for Magic Millions

Media Release - Friday January 7

Annabel Neasham and Lizzie Jelfs are delighted to announce a new partnership that will see the pair buying in conjunction at the upcoming Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale next week. Former Sky TV Racing Presenter, Lizzie Jelfs resigned from her role at the end of December and is excited to work alongside Annabel Neasham to use her expertise and talented eye to select yearlings that will be trained by Annabel.

Lizzie Jelfs and Annabel Neasham are at the Gold Coast chasing future star racehorses!

This partnership will allow individuals to ‘Race with Lizzie’ with yearlings that she selects from the sales. The concept will bring like-minded people together who share a passion for racing and who want to be a part of the Neasham stable success. Lizzie’s aim is to build diversity in racing and this collaboration will see her at the fore front of encouraging new and existing clients into the world of racehorse ownership.

“Racing is full of opportunity, and I want to offer something new that hasn’t been done before. I’ve always thrived being hands on since my time with David Hayes and combining my experience and time in the media with my knowledge of horses to be actively buying at the sales, excites me.

“I have a close relationship with Annabel and it felt right to go into a partnership with her. We’ll start with the Magic Millions next week and see how we go with this sale before making future plans. Whilst still having a role in the media, I am looking forward to where this venture might go,” said Jelfs.

Annabel and Lizzie share a passion for horses and racing.

The feeling is mutual from Annabel, “I’m really excited; Lizzie and I are on the same page, and we just want to find horses that we love and that have great potential. Everyone knows she has an incredible eye and I trust her judgement. It is going to be a lot of fun.”
