Juvenile Trial Watch – Wyong

Tara Madgwick - Monday December 20

Four trials for juveniles at Wyong on Monday morning produced some interesting winners prepared by leading trainers with Peter and Paul Snowden delivering the fastest heat winner who is by Russian Revolution and has a three-quarter sister headed to Magic Millions 2022.

Two year-old colt Secret Revolution has already been to the races once leading all the way before fading to finish eighth of 13 in the Kirkham Plate at Randwick back in October.

Stepping out for the first time since then, Secret Revolution looked to have made good improvement since then and sat behind the leaders before powering home up the straight to win by more than three lengths in 48.84 seconds with ears pricked under Tommy Berry.

Second and third placed Venetian Blue and Fire and Ice are also by first season sires in Merchant Navy and Hellbent.

A $300,000 Magic Millions purchase for Snowden Racing from the Widden Stud draft, Secret Revolution is the first foal of stakes-winning Denman mare Secret Trail.

Widden Stud will offer the second foal of Secret Trail, a filly by Russian Revolution’s sire Snitzel as Lot 492 at Magic Millions 22 and she is pictured below.

Other juvenile heat winners were: Treasurer (Capitalist), Impendment (Impending) and Hellavadancer (Hellbent).
