Big Day Looming For First Season Sires

Breednet - Friday December 10

There’s sure to be movement on the first season sire table after racing’s wound up on Saturday with a host of youngsters by freshman sires fancied in the markets.

Aquis Farm’s The Mission and Raheen Stud’s Heroic Valour are clear at the top currently with both Queensland based stallions having brilliant starts to their careers and if Spieth’s debutant Valspar can win the $400,000 Inglis Nursery at Randwick it could see Aquis one-two at the top.

Other sires with fancied runners include Pariah, Hellbent, Supido, Russian Revolution, Menari and Invader.

Supido has the pre-post favourite with Stupendo at Flemington on Saturday
