Sent out favourite after easily winning at the Sunshine Coast at his first run back after more than a year off the scene, the Tony Gollan trained six year-old was at his brilliant best.

Stepping up to 1200m, he led for home and kept up a good gallop to beat Baller by a length and a quarter taking his overall record to nine wins from 13 starts with prizemoney topping $575,000.

“He is doing a great job isn’t he? He broke the track record off that long lay off at the Sunny Coast and I always worry about those ratings peak when they produce that sort of run, then backing them up 14 days later,” Gollan said.

“He showed no concerns to us at home and he just went out and did what he does well today.

“He is a horse that is now relaxing so well in those mid stages, Stampe wanted to put a bit of pressure on him at the corner but he was always going to be hard to run down.”

Bred and raced by Desharon Bloodstock and Stableboard Bloodstock, Zoustyle is the best of two winners from Anabaa mare Fashion (GER) who was a stakes-placed winner in Germany.

A daughter of the stakes-winning Acatenango mare Felina, Fashion (Ger) is a half-sister to the Group III winner Felicity, the dam of the Champion Older Male Miler in Germany in 2013, Felician and stakes-winner Fly First.

Fashion has a yearling colt by Zoustar and has foaled this spring producing a filly by Dundeel. She was then covered by Bivouac.

Zoustyle is the fifth stakes-winner so far this season for Widden stud's champion sire Zoustar, who has 50 entries for Magic Millions 2022.
