Breednet Track First Season Sires at the Trials

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday November 30

At this time of year there is great interest in the progeny of first season sires stepping out at the trials so Breednet are tracking them and producing a weekly report which features eight first season sires with trial winners in the pipeline and two of those have four winners each.

Hellbent is amassing some firepower in the locker.

Those guys are Russian Revolution and Hellbent, who had two trial winners on Tuesday in My Lawless Lady (Gold Coast) and Hell I Am (Canterbury), who featured in this Juvenile Trial Watch story.

Russian Revolution has 39 entries for Magic Millions and Hellbent has 23, while at Inglis Classic both young guns have 30 each.

The report catalogues the performance of all progeny of first season sires up until they race offering a quick way to see anything of interest that may be in the pipeline.

These horses remain on the list up until they go to the races, so the list only features UNRACED two year-olds.

First season sires with trial winners on this list this week are: Gold Standard, Hellbent, Impending, Menari, Pariah, Russian Revolution, Spieth and The Mission.
