One to Watch – Horsham

Tara Madgwick - Sunday October 17

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace picked an easy race to start this well bred I Am Invincible colt off in and he duly obliged with a stylish debut win.

Video had a couple of barrier trials in Sydney earlier this year but was sent to Horsham on Sunday for a 1200m maiden which proved an easy assignment.

He accelerated nicely at the finish for John Allen to win by two lengths giving the impression more wins are in store.

A $400,000 Magic Millions purchase for Belmont Bloodstock from the Newhaven Park draft, Video runs for a syndicate that includes his breeders Newhaven Park and Seymour Bloodstock in whose colours he runs.

Video was a $400,000 Magic Millions yearling.

Video is a half-brother to Group I MRC Thousand Guineas winner Odeum and $1.1million earning stakes-winner Goodfella being the third winner from stakes-placed Red Ransom (USA) mare Movie, a half-sister to stakes-winner Strawberry Storm and to the dam of Group I winner Gytrash.

Movie has a yearling filly by Zoustar and was covered last spring by Capitalist.

Video is another promising winner for champion sire I Am Invincible, who is setting a brisk pace on the Australian General Sires List by winners with 61 on the board already!
