Race 1 summary - I AM SPECIAL on debut and has trialled since last race, the testing material. TRUMBO was in the mix in recent outings and expect to lead, in with a chance. EVERY REASON back from long 96 week spell and generally strong first-up, needs the breaks. LUZONICA first starter and trialled at Goulburn, quinella.

Race 2 summary - Hard to see anything upsetting the top two. D'BEAK won or placed four of last seven and drops 4kg from last run, marginal top pick. FORCE OF MAGIC consistently close but finding it hard to win and expect to lead, among the chances. STANDOUBT a track specialist winning twice at Canberra and likely to race on the speed, each-way claims. IRENIC won or placed four of last six and racing back from the city, cannot be ruled out.
Race 2 tips - 1st: D'BEAK (6), 2nd: FORCE OF MAGIC (4), 3rd: STANDOUBT (1), 4th: IRENIC (5).

Race 3 summary - Anticipating this to be run genuine tempo. EXAGGERATE led throughout for a dominant win last start to break maiden at Gundagai when first up and winner or placed in three of past five, hard to go past. DAMAGIC led all the way to win last start at Gundagai and won two on the trot, each-way claims. SIMPLY STRIKING back after 26 week break and generally strong first-up, in with a chance. KNIGHTHOOD resumes from a 33 week spell and having first run for a new trainer, chance to place.
Race 3 tips - 1st: EXAGGERATE (1), 2nd: DAMAGIC (2), 3rd: SIMPLY STRIKING (4), 4th: KNIGHTHOOD (3).

Race 4 summary - SUPER STAR BOB in decent form and has multiple wins at Canberra, genuine contender. ATOM EVE back after 33 week break and won or placed five of last seven, among the chances. BRING A SECRET in decent form and amongst the placegetters last start running third at Warwick Farm, strong place chance. MERCURIAL LAD has multiple wins at Canberra and racing back from metro track, place claims.
Race 4 tips - 1st: SUPER STAR BOB (6), 2nd: ATOM EVE (5), 3rd: BRING A SECRET (1), 4th: MERCURIAL LAD (2).

Race 5 summary - FUN TICKETS on a four day back-up and in fairly consistent form, key chance. CAPEABEEL has good speed and Christian Reith has had success aboard previously, in with a chance. ADMIRE GRATZI and came on strong to win last start to break maiden at Canberra and winner or placed in four of past seven, place claims. SNIP OF PURPLE drawn perfectly and should race on the speed, quinella.
Race 5 tips - 1st: FUN TICKETS (2), 2nd: CAPEABEEL (5), 3rd: ADMIRE GRATZI (1), 4th: SNIP OF PURPLE (9).

Race 6 summary - OVERREACTIVE faded to finish on the winners' heels last start at Tuncurry when first up and honest frontrunner, major contender. TAY TAY TAYLOR knocking on the door after recent runner up finishes and hard to catch, will lead/box seat, chance to place. ATHONIS resumes after a spell of 28 weeks and first run for a new trainer, needs the breaks. HAJDUK kept chasing and just missed last start at Gundagai when resuming, place best.
Race 6 tips - 1st: OVERREACTIVE (6), 2nd: TAY TAY TAYLOR (12), 3rd: ATHONIS (1), 4th: HAJDUK (5).

Race 7 summary - CRITICAL TOUCH won two of last six and has outstanding form at this track, a winning chance. FRISKEE ONE let-up and strong finishing effort to win last start at Grafton, still in this. ROCK PRODIGY winner or placed in five of past six and has won twice at Canberra before, place chance. SWINDLERS MISS unsighted last start at Canberra but has won at the track before and should race on the speed, not the worst.
Race 7 tips - 1st: CRITICAL TOUCH (4), 2nd: FRISKEE ONE (3), 3rd: ROCK PRODIGY (2), 4th: SWINDLERS MISS (1).

Race 8 summary - SO SPIRITED in fairly consistent form and only just missed last start, finishing a length back from the winner at Gosford when fresh, hard to go past. MEDIA VITA a speedy type and drops 0.5kg from last run, don't dismiss. TYRES ARE CRUCIAL back from 20 week spell and won only first-up attempt on debut, don't dismiss. HONOUR THE ONE won or placed five of last six and placed last start at Goulburn, the real danger in the race.
Race 8 tips - 1st: SO SPIRITED (1), 2nd: MEDIA VITA (2), 3rd: TYRES ARE CRUCIAL (6), 4th: HONOUR THE ONE (8).
