Aussie Bred Maurice Winner South Africa

Tara Madgwick - Saturday September 25

Arrowfield stud shuttler Maurice (Jpn) had an Aussie bred winner in South Africa on Saturday with three year-old filly Whoa Whoa Whoa scoring at Durbanville.

Trained by Brett Crawford for Ridgemont Stud, Whoa Whoa Whoa ran out a length and a quarter winner at her first start in the 1250m fillies and mares maiden.

A homebred for Ridgemont, Whoa Whoa Whoa is the second foal and second winner for stakes-winning Fast ‘n’ Famous mare What’s New Pussycat (NZ), a half-sister to stakes-winner Seaway.

Whoa Whoa Whoa is the first runner and first winner for Maurice in South Africa.
