Phillip Stokes puts the polish on Pariah filly Runaway Belle, who has drawn barrier two and as third in a recent trial at Cranbourne.

A $100,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for her trainer from the Longwood Thoroughbred Farm draft, Runaway Belle is the first foal of winning Sepoy mare Jessej, a daughter of Group II placed juvenile winner Jesse’s Girl.

Runaway Belle has a pedigree that suggests early speed.

This is the family of juvenile stakes-winners Eloping and Of the Brave, so there is plenty of pedigree to suggest Runaway Belle is entitled to go early and fast!

Godolphin have pinned their hopes on Exceed and Excel colt Contemporary, a full brother to UK bred winner Lion Tower as his dam Memorial started her stud career in Europe for Darley.

A two time winner at two and Group II placed at three, Memorial is a half-sister by Street Cry (IRE) to Group I winner Impending from champion filly Mnemosyne.
