Third Running of Sir Prancealot Race Series

Media Release - Friday September 10

It is with great excitement that we can announce a continuation of the "Sir Prancealot Race Series" into its 3rd Season. Run in conjunction with The Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club the six heats run between September 22nd and December 19th, will culminate with a final race to be run at the Gawler Racecourse on Saturday the 19th of December over 1200m for fillies and mares.

Sam Hayes was keen to heap praise on Shane Collin's progressive Gawler and Barossa Jockey Club;

“Shane's drive and vision for what is our neighbouring raceclub resonates strongly with us at Cornerstone and I also have to commend RacingSA for their collective push to keep increasing prizemoney and Racing Rewards bonuses."

"Yet on a more personal level, it has been thoroughly enjoyable to have past winners of our "Sir Prancealot nominations" in Phillipe Huserot and owners John Chapple, Greg Blight and syndicate both expecting foals this year and my hope is that this Race Series helps to add additional vibrancy to our local breeding industry."
