Field and form online for Caulfield Saturday

A field of 16 will chase a guaranteed Caulfield Cup berth in Saturday's Group III MRC Foundation Cup (2000m) at Caulfield.

Jameka won the race, officially named the Naturalism Stakes, before going on to claim the Caulfield Cup two starts later for trainer Ciaron Maher and jockey Nick Hall.

The Lloyd Williams-owned Macedon Lodge operation will run imports Sir Isaac Newton and Gallante in the $150,000 race while David Hayes, Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig will run Boom Time, Harlem and Harlow Gold.

Darren Weir has three runners – Big Duke, Articus and Amelie's Star – engaged while Mick Kent will run Group I winner Abbey Marie, who produced a solid second in the Group II Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley last time out.

Saturday's meeting also features the Group III Ladbrokes Odds Boost Stakes (1200m) for the mares while Brave Smash will have his last run before The Everest in the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes (1200m).

Saturday's program starts at 12:00pm (AEDT). The track was rated a good (3) at acceptance time while the rail will be in the nine-metre position for the entire circuit.
