Triple Crown Mares Retired

Tara Madgwick - Thursday August 26

Thanks for the memories, Triple Crown Syndications have announced the retirement of quality stakes-winning mares Missile Mantra (Smart Missile) and Reelem in Ruby (Pierro).

Triple Crown owners had a big result earlier this year when they sold Group III winner Moss Trip in foal to Trapeze Artist in her first season at stud for $900,000 at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale to Kia Ora Stud.

Moss Trip’s owners, together with Chris & Michael Ward and Barry Bowditch, celebrate after her $900,000 sale – Magic Millions

The same process will be followed with Group winners Missile Mantra and Reelem in Ruby, who will go to stud this spring to be covered by leading sires.

Missile Mantra is booked to Capitalist and Reelem in Ruby to Snitzel.
