Arqana Success for Victorian Breeder

A mare purchased by Dorrington Farm at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton November Sale for $US250,000 produced a great result for Victorian breeder Rob Crabtree and his family when her yearling colt by Kitten’s Joy sold for €300,000 at the Arqana August Yearling Sale on day two.

The handsome chestnut colt from Blue Grass Music (USA) is a full brother to Group I Belmont Invitational Derby winner Henley’s Joy and was bought by MC Calmont Bloodstock to be trained in the UK by John Gosden.

Blue Grass Music was carrying the €300,000 colt when she was purchased and is now in Australia and is due to foal to champion sire Exceed and Excel this spring.
