Slipper Dreaming for Young Sire

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 11

Aquis Farm have a roster filled with promising young sires, but with some 30 of his first crop two year-olds already named and 23 of them entered for the 2022 Golden Slipper there is reason for optimism in regards to this good looking son of a champion sire.

The Champion New Zealand Sire of 2010/2011, Australian bred Thorn Park died prematurely at the height of his powers leaving 29 stakes-winners, seven of them Group I winners including his Cox Plate hero and now leading sire Ocean Park.

Spieth is a Premium stallion, click for more information.

Among those stakes-winners was also Group I placed stakes-winning sprinter Spieth, who has been stamped unmistakably by his sire and proven well able to transmit that well balanced sprinters physique to his offspring.

Spieth enjoyed strong results at the yearling sales this year with nine of his yearlings selling for $80,000 or more and a filly from Sweet Fire setting the benchmark when sold for $180,000 at Inglis Premier.

Spieth had three yearlings average $118,333 at Inglis Premier, three sell at Inglis Classic at an average $76,667 and five sell at Magic Millions Adelaide at an average $73,000.

Top selling yearlings for Spieth in 2021.

His two year-olds have found their way into some of the best stables in Australia and it will be no surprise to see them making an early impression.

Spieth stands at a fee of $8,800 this spring, but breeders will have the chance to waive the fee in the special offer outlined below.
