D'Argento was a popular flagbearer for Star Thoroughbreds.

The Chris Waller trained stallion won over $1.1million on the track with a highlight win in the Group I ATC Rosehill Guineas and a painfully close second to Hartnell in the Group I ATC Epsom Handicap.

One of the first mares he covered last year on September 1 was Purple Blood and the daughter of Encosta de Lago is the dam of his first foal.

D'Argento colt from Purple Blood.
This eye catching colt is a half-brother to three winners including Group III winner Sookie, the dam of dual Group I winner Shadow Hero.

D’Argento covered 152 mares last spring and stands at a fee of $16,500 at Bowness Stud.
