Ancient Girl was a $150,000 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale purchase by McDonald Racing from the draft of Windsor Park Stud, who stand her promising young sire Turn Me Loose. The cracking filly was bred by former team members Jason Thomasen and David Morris.
