First Foal of the Season at Cambridge Stud

There is keen anticipation for the first runners this season by Cambridge Stud’s exciting young shuttle sire Almanzor (Fr), whose first yearlings set sale rings alight this year and he is also the sire of their first foal born this spring.

Almanzor colt from Rose Meer.


Bred by Sir Patrick and Lady Hogan, this Almanzor colt from Rose Meer was born on Sunday and traces back to their first ever Group I winner Gay Poss.

Almanzor is the best son of Wootton Bassett (IRE), who is headed to Australia this spring to stand at Coolmore at a fee of $71,500.
