Five Winners from Seven Runners

Tara Madgwick - Monday August 2

Clear Mountain Fairview Stud have good cause to be proud of their young sire Worthy Cause, who posted a new winner at Toowoomba on the last day of the racing season.

A homebred for Dr Kim McCasker trained by Michael Nolan, Star Twinkle won by more than a length over 1210m.

She runs for the same connections that have enjoyed success with Worthy Cause’s best winner Hinged, who has won five races and over $260,000 in prizemoney.

"Both fillies were bred, born, raised, broken-in, educated and now spell at Clear Mountain Fairview," Lisa Frappell.

"As you can imagine, we are super proud of them and their sire Worthy Cause."

A Group III winning son of Choisir, Worthy Cause has done a great job with his first runners from limited numbers producing five winners from seven starters with Hinged his best performer.

Worthy Cause was the most successful first season sire in Queensland for 2020/2021.

Worthy Cause was the most successful Queensland based first season sire for 2020/2021 and his winner to runner strike rate of 71.4% is the best of all first season sires!

Worthy Cause stands at a fee of $5,500 alongside Jabali, Wanted and Love Conquers All.
